Mesotherapy is a facial treatment that was created in 1952 and was developed by Michel Pistor to help treat medical conditions. His idea was to administer medication directly into the blood stream rather than having to process it through the digestive system. He started by treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, pain, and osteoarthritis before discovering it could be used to treat skin conditions too.
Mesotherapy is a non-surgical treatment that uses tiny needles within a Dermapen to implant vitamins and extracts into the skin to rejuvenate and tighten the skin. Mesotherapy is also used to treat acne scarring and improve dull and tired looking skin whilst also improving the blood circulation.
Mesotherapy can also be done using a syringe that injects the product directly into the skin. This version of the treatment is relatively new to the industry and would require different pre-requisites as you are administering the product to injection points using a singular needle/syringe.
