A body scrub is a treatment which exfoliates the skin to remove dead skin cells. Once the dead cells have been removed, this leaves the skin feeling and looking soft and refreshed. The body scrub is rubbed vigorously across the body using your hands to scrub away any dead skin cells.

Body scrubs were invented by Ancient Egyptians who created an exfoliation method using pumice stones, alabaster particles, sand, and Aloe Vera. They used exfoliation to remove dry skin caused by the desert heat.
